It's been a while now since the fourth movie in the series hit the big screen and raked in the cash despite getting just above average reviews from the critics, and now we have news from Indy himself that the fifth movie has the basic storyline roughed out

Ben stiller has talked many times about how he would like to bring the character back and it always seem to be a favourite Stiller movie among those that have seen it
The next Dan Brown novel to be adapted for the big screen featuring Professor Robert Langdon is The Lost Symbol and Sony are already busy getting the book converted into a screenplay. Doing the honours this time is Steven Knight who also did Dirty Pretty Things, and with the success of the previous two movies in the series you can be sure this movie will be on the fast track.
The fourth movie in the Mad Max series is looking to be on the big screen in 2011 and it will be a twenty six year gap between this movie and the last, Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome. On the cast for certain is Charlize Theron as a yet unamed character and rumoured to be playing Max Rockantansky himself is Mark Hildebrandt, although this is just rumoured currently
Vin Diesel has confirmed by his Facebook page that he has received a two story script for the next two Fast and Furious franchise movies. It seems that Diesel is back on board for the franchise that made him a household name, as he describes in his post below.

With Avatar already getting rave reviews all round, across the board, James Cameron has already confirmed that if Avatar does the business at the box office, which i'm sure it will especially in the quiet Christmas period they have released it in, then a sequel and possibly trilogy is definitely on the cards
News has broke on the third movie in the Riddick franchise from writer director David Twohy and starring Vin Diesel as the anti hero Riddick. Diesel himself posted the news on his Facebook page stating that location scouting for the third movie in the series has begun which is good news for sci fi fans
The Men in Black are set to return for the third movie in the series with rumours of both Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones set to reprise their roles after both showing interest in returning to the characters. The rumored release date for Men in Black 3 in sometime in 2011 so nothing is concrete yet, but here's hoping that it more like the original which was a solid popcorn movie rather than the sequel which didn't really light the screen on fire in any way shape or form
Smoking Aces 2 - Assasin's Ball is all set to hit DVD, Blu Ray and Digital Download on January the 19th and is despite the title actually a prequel to the origional Smokin Aces. The prequel follows one of the gangs the Tremours from the original movie including newcomer Autumn Reeser as the movie centers on the assisination of an FBI agent played by Tom Berenger where everyone is out to get him
