
The next Dan Brown novel to be adapted for the big screen featuring Professor Robert Langdon is The Lost Symbol and Sony are already busy getting the book converted into a screenplay. Doing the honours this time is Steven Knight who also did Dirty Pretty Things, and with the success of the previous two movies in the series you can be sure this movie will be on the fast track.

With the release date for Prince of Persia nearing, then we are getting to see more and more or the movie and its stars. Asteroids is the latest movie adaptation to be getting the go ahead from the videogame world. The Atari classic was damn addictive at the time, and still has gameplay the stands up to the test of time today, you have to cut it some slack as it was made in 1979 and at the time it was pretty revolutionary, with fancy vector graphics, and some suitably kick ass bleeps and blips, ok I made that last bit up, I actually can't remember what the sound effects were like! I should probably go check out the original later

Bubblegum Crisis is the latest Japanese anime to be getting the big screen live action makeover, this time though its not quite as straight forward as you may think. While Bubblegum Crisis became a cult hit after it's 1987 straight to video release it appears that the weight is being spread with the investment on this adaptation
