The Green Hornet is the latest in a long line of comic book adaptations coming to the big screen. This time the title character is played by a more non typical lead in Seth Rogan who plays the title character The Green Hornet, newspaper publisher by day, and crime fighter by night aided by his valet Kato, played by Jay Chou
The well known law man of the 2000AD universe Judge Dredd is returning to the big screen for his second full length feature movie. Thankfully though Sly Stallone won't be reprising the role after the awful 1995 movie which managed to garner a shelf full of 'worst movie of the year awards.
The next Dan Brown novel to be adapted for the big screen featuring Professor Robert Langdon is The Lost Symbol and Sony are already busy getting the book converted into a screenplay. Doing the honours this time is Steven Knight who also did Dirty Pretty Things, and with the success of the previous two movies in the series you can be sure this movie will be on the fast track.
With the release date for Prince of Persia nearing, then we are getting to see more and more or the movie and its stars. No doubt Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, who teamed up for the very successful Pirates trilogy are expecting similar things from the Prince of Persia and from what has been shown so far they should be feeling confident

The Prince of Persia marketing machine is winding up and from the new photos, the Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time is going to look great. With Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer on board you have an easy comparison with Pirates of the Caribbean on how good the Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time is going to look. Asteroids is the latest movie adaptation to be getting the go ahead from the videogame world. The Atari classic was damn addictive at the time, and still has gameplay the stands up to the test of time today, you have to cut it some slack as it was made in 1979 and at the time it was pretty revolutionary, with fancy vector graphics, and some suitably kick ass bleeps and blips, ok I made that last bit up, I actually can't remember what the sound effects were like! I should probably go check out the original later
