Indiana Jones 5 has a story – Harrison Ford Confirms

It’s been a while now since the fourth movie in the series hit the big screen and raked in the cash despite getting just above average reviews from the critics, and now we have news from Indy himself that the fifth movie has the basic storyline roughed out.

Talking to the BBC Harrison Ford said “Steven and George and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we’re seeing what comes of it.” But it’s still a bit early to be getting to excited as Ford later stated “The process works like this, we come to some basic agreement and then George goes away for a long time and works on it. Then Steven and I get it in some form, some embryonic form. Then if we like it we start working with George on it and at some point down the line it’s ready and we do it.”

So it seems that although the idea for the story is set it’s still a long way off completion and with Harrison Ford now 67 it makes you wonder if George Lucas will come up with a story soon enough for them to actually film it. After all the gap between The Last Crusade and The Crystal Skull was ooh about.. wait i cant actually count that high.

More news on Indy 5 as we get it.

Like you said, we’ll see if he makes it. I hope he does because Indy isn’t Indy without Harrison Ford. Though, in the Crystal Skull it did introduce a new young Henry “Mutt Williams” Jones III ;)

Re: Ford & IJ Film 5

Please don’t blow this one guys! bring back LeBeuf and include Connery. Get Ford on some protein and creatine; he needs to bulk up a bit. Let’s get a spicier female too!
