
The 2010 upcoming remake and re-imagining of George A Romero's The Crazies has it's first trailer out, and stars Timophy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell in the lead roles of David and Judy Dutton. The Dutton's find themselves in the middle of a very strange situation when their small town in Iowa is hit by a mysterious plague that infects the locals through the water supply

With Avatar already getting rave reviews all round, across the board, James Cameron has already confirmed that if Avatar does the business at the box office, which i'm sure it will especially in the quiet Christmas period they have released it in, then a sequel and possibly trilogy is definitely on the cards

Duncan Jones low budget sci fi piece of goodness Moon, starring Sam Rockwell has been doing the business at the British Independent Film Awards or the BIFA, nice acryomn right! Moon took home two awards this year effectively, Duncan Jones took the Douglas Hickox Award which is given to a British Director on their debut feature movie, and Moon also grabbed the big one The Best British Independant Film Award

Timecrimes is a 2007 science fiction movie that takes a novel approach on the idea of time travel following the characters of Hector played by Karra Elejalde. Hector starts the story sat on a chair in his garden with his wife played by Candela Fernandez who is just about to nip out to do some shopping, Hector notices something in the forest at the bottom of his garden and takes a look with his binoculars. Through the tree and bushes he sees the figure of a woman undressing in the forrest and he decides to go and check out what is going on

With his first feature film Moon a critical success and a great debut movie, Duncan Jones is now looking towards his next movie projects. First up is the planned follow up to Moon which is set to serve as an epilogue to Moon, and Jones confirmed that Sam Rockwell has agreed to do a cameo in the next movie, although no news yet on whether the movie will be a sequel or a prequel

The wait is finally over and the official Avatar trailer is online. It's been a huge wait will all the hype and build up this movie has had, but we finally get to see what the movie is going to look like, and you can check out the full trailer below
