With High Definition you have two standard resolutions, both far inproved on the standard definition we are currently used too.

You may have seen them in the shops with their colour branding in full force, both sides have gone for an obvious image and branding of their format. You would have to be having a bad day to buy the wrong format in the shops with them picking the opposite cool and warm colours of the spectrum to promote their brands.

Timeline was a movie that has one of the worst trailers I have ever seen in the history of cinema, I remember when I saw it I instantly though that this is a movie I should avoid at all costs. This week we go from comic book sequel to horror movie no 4 in the Saw franchise and end up on a 3d blockbuster based on the Beowulf and Grendel Fable. So a nice mix of posters with a good variety of styles.

The current state of the high definition DVD market is reaching all time lows with both formats jostling for the lead position in the eyes of the viewer and among support with the major movie studios. New news stories are posted weekly in papers and magazines and on hundreds of news sites.

The Most Sequels Ever is it a good claim or a bad claim? You have to really discount certain franchises here, firstly the Carry On set of movies which are not true sequels they are essentially the same story in different settings. Exactly the same applies for the James Bond series of movies, again they are not true sequels. So that brings us to one collection of movies with the most sequels ever which is..... Friday the 13th.

Pitch Black turned up out of the blue, with one of the best trailers I've seen to date. It was minimal, visually stark and left you wanting more and intrigued to know what happened to the alcohol fuelled flame blowing man as he was surrounded in the darkness.
