The Joneses is one of those movies that never really got pushed but has such an interesting idea for a movie that it's well worth a look just for the premise alone. Writer/director Derrick Borte first forey into film direction follows the story of the joneses who promote products in affluent suburbun areas, making sales through product placement in their own lives which they then show off to their wealthy neighbours, creating a sales ripple effect through the neighbourhood.
The Joneses is an upcoming comedy drama focusing on The Joneses of course, who are more than just your average neighbours. The Joneses are actually a family who work for a marketing company and who have a natural aptitude for promotion and selling, using undercover and viral techniques to pitch luxury good to their new neighbours
Its official Ben Stiller mentioned he was finding the right script for the follow up to the very funny and one of my fave Ben Stiller movies, the pretty amazing and very silly Zoolander! How can you forget the classic plot line which involved the Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too and the assassination of a president all in one film
