The Book of Eli is due out mid January 2010 and stars Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis is a action thriller set in a post apocalyptic wasteland. Denzel Washington plays the hero Eli whose sole mission in life is to defend the book of Eli, a book which could potentially save mankind. Along the way he takes Mila Kunis's character Solara, under his wing and they get in a war with the Despot chief Carnegie played by Gary Oldman who dispatches a contract killer played by Ray Stevenson to hunt down and kill Eli
Law Abiding Citizen is an upcoming movie starring Gerard Butler, Jamie Foxx and Leslie Bibb. The story centers on Butlers character Clyde Shelton whose wife and daughter are killed when two men invade their house during the night. One of the men is sentenced to death and the other is let off on condition of cooperation with the district attorney's office, this provokes Shelton to exact his own revenge and seek his own justice
Christopher Nolan is back on the big screen with his latest movie Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio due out next summer on July the 16th 2010. Nolan is writer, producer and director on this film and always produces movies that while dark have a intellectual edge to them
Whiteout is an upcoming movie based on the comic book of the same name and stars Kate Beckinsale in the lead role as a US deputy marshall assigned to Antarctica to investigate a recent murder with only three days before the full antarctic winter rolls in. Beckinsale's character crosses paths in the antarctic with a UN officer played by Gabriel Macht also investing the murder which leads to conflict and intrigue in solving what has happened in the snowy wasteland
The upcoming remake of The Wolfman starring Benecio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt, has been pushed back on its release date again. The Wolfman is now due to hit out screens in February 2010 but it's not all bad news as Universal has brought us a new trailer for the upcoming period werewolf flick
Trick 'r Treat is an upcoming horror release, set to hid DVD and Blu-ray on the 27th of October 2009, it complies a series of five related Halloween spooky and scary stories, with the central theme being the appearance of one character called Sam a small trick or treater dressed in a pumpkin mask

James Cameron's much hyped Avatar is due to show its teaser trailer on the 20th of August on the Apple movie trailer page and it's been a long wait for us sci fi fans.
