
Good news for fans of John Carpenter's The Thing as a shooting date has now been announced for the prequel to the classic horror movie. The currently un-named prequel is set in the Norweigan Antartic base that we caught a glimpse of at the start of the 1982 original

The Universal Soldier franchise has it's third movie in the main series and this time it's bringing back the origional stars alongside some new ones. This time around the main character is a new Uni-Sol, a new generation of the origional project named NGU and played by MMA and former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei 'The Pitbull' Arlovski. The new NGU has been developed by a rebel faction who took the origional technology and enhanced it to a higher level. With their one man killing machine in hand the rebels gain control of a nuclear power plant and use it make their requests known

Furry Vengeance is an up and coming comedy movie starring Brendan Fraser as Dan Sanders a real estate developer who finds that in the Oregon Wilderness his new housing plans face major threat from the most deadly of creatures.. yes the local wildlife. Furry Vengeance also stars Brook Shields and Tammy Sanders and Ken Jeong and Dick Van Dyke and is all set to be released on the 7th of May 2010

With the release date for Prince of Persia nearing, then we are getting to see more and more or the movie and its stars. No doubt Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, who teamed up for the very successful Pirates trilogy are expecting similar things from the Prince of Persia and from what has been shown so far they should be feeling confident

With the Christmas number one battle still going it looks as though Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes is in a close battle to take the crown this weekend against James Cameron's Avatar. Both movies have been doing the business at the box office this weekend and while we don't have the complete figures yet, it appears that Avatar might just pip Sherlock Holmes to the post

Ridley Scott's 2010 adaptation of the Robin Hood legend starring Russell Crowe in the title role has it's first trailer. This is the first time we have actually covered this new version of Robin Hood and the reason is, that I've seen so many version, serious and parodies of this world that I'm not sure if I can watch another. Ridley Scott will no doubt bring an intensity and seriousness to the movie that we wont have seen since the Kevin Costner version hit the big screen but will it really be anything different?

The first full Iron Man 2 trailer has finally surfaced and is sure to get all the fans of the first movie whipped up into a frenzy as the Tony Stark story continues where it left off after the last movie.
