Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen and Pandorum – Posted
This week in Posted we bring you two big movies due out later this year, both sure to light up the big screen with lots of visual eye candy, action and tension.
First up are a couple of posters from the second Transformers movie – Revenge of the Fallen. After the immense success of the original movie this sequel has been given a larger budget over $200 million which means that we get to see more of the Transformers on screen this time due to the expensive cost and time required to render the very complex CGI animations. Expect to see lots of new Transformers in Revenge of the Fallen with most of the human cast returning from the original, including Megan Fox and Shia Lebouf.  Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen is due to be released late June 2009.
Next up is the upcoming science fiction thriller Pandorum which stars Dennis Quaid, Ben Foster and Mixed Martial Arts star Kung Le, among others. We’ve already talked about Pandorum a bit here on Movies Illustrated and its one of the film’s due out this year that i’m most looking forward too. Firstly it has a very cool title, Pandorum, what exactly it means I have no fricken idea but who cares when it sounds like a mix between pandemonium and um some other word I can’t think of right now. Taking a look at the poster I see some HR Giger influence it’s pretty dark and has that whole amalgamation of the body and technology that was apparent in Giger’s work, Pandorum is due out in September this year.
