This week, we once again have a varied selection of posters with a range of styles. From low budget horror movies with The Ruins to political satires with War, Inc.

First up is the horror movie The Ruins, based on the book of the same name and made for a relatively low budget of around $8 million. The Ruins is due out around May here, and has so far got average write ups. Interesting fact Ben Stiller is the producer on this one. One thing the Ruins does have in its favour is a wicked poster that looks great, nice colours and palette and lots of interesting textures going on.

Vantage Point is a thriller directed by Pete Travis and starring Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox, Forest Whitaker with Sigourney Weaver and William Hurt. It should already be out now, but you might not have seen the poster yet, which is pretty stylish and reflects the stance of the film which shows you the same event from a variety of situations.

Last up this week is War, Inc. which is John Cusacks latest movie, it’s a political satire set in the future and I think, a fictional desert country of Turagistan (but I will have to check on a map later). Cusack once again plays a hitman, which he did last in Grosse Pointe Blank, this time while hired for a job, things become more complicated as he falls for a reporter played by Marisa Tomai. The rest of the cast in War, Inc. is suitably varied with Hilary Duff, Joan Cusack, Chuck liddell, Ben Kingsley and Montel Willams also featuring. The posters quite interesting too, could be a good movie, i’ll definitely be watching this one.
