Neve Campbell Confirmed for Scream 4
Good news for Scream fans as we get confirmation that Neve Campbell is set to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in the upcoming Scream 4. Neve confirmed that shooting starts next year in mid April, and it looks as though the rest of the surviving cast from the previous Scream movies have also signed on meaning we will be seeing David Arquette and Courtney Cox back in their respective roles.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether Wes Craven is going to direct it would make sense that he does, as Scream was a massive hit and it’s been a while so I’m sure the enthusiasm to return to the series should be back and i personally hope that he does. Craven is the master of the popcorn horror movie and since Scream 3 he has only directed 3 full movies, Cursed the werewolf horror movie starring Christina Ricci that got panned by the critics and was only a success on DVD for die hard Craven fans, Redeye which was a great thriller starring Rachel McAdams which put Craven back on the right track with most critics praising the movie, and finally we have My Soul to Take which is currently in Post Production and due for a 2010 release date.
