The Ward focuses on the story of a young institutionalized woman Kristen who is played by Amber Heard of All the Boys Love Mandy Lane fame and more recently starred in the Joneses with Demi Moore and David Duchovny. Carpenter is a long standing director in Hollywood with a back catalogue of cult classics and is well known for his multi talented approach to film making often playing director, producer, composer and writer. Its been over 10 years since we last saw him in the directors chair but Carpenter is a master at building suspense and all the reviews of The Ward so far have praised the old school and more underplayed approach he’s taken on this movie.

We have the trailer for The Ward right here so you can judge for yourself how it looks personally this is one I’m definitely going to try and watch.
