30 Day of Night, Balls of Fury & Sweeney Todd – Posted

This week, were looking at scary and promising horror, pure comedy fun and quite possibly the first movie based on table tennis and finishing up with a dark gothic tale about the demon barber of Fleet Street.

30 Days of Night has serious promise, its got a cult fan base already thanks to its line of comics, its due out soon and it will be interesting to see how it goes at the theatres. 30 Days of Night is looking to do that very difficult task of making a supernatural vampire movie solid and believable. If you’ve been disappointed with the vampire movies of recent times and haven’t seen Nightwatch or the sequel Daywatch, then do your self a favour and get them rented.

Balls of Fury, there isn’t much you can say about it, the poster and title should really speak for themselves. Based in the cut-throat world of ping pong/table tennis, Balls of Fury is aiming for the Dodgeball audiences with its tongue firmly in its cheek.

Finally Tim Burton is back, teaming up with his long time leading man Johnny Depp. I love Tim Burton’s visual style and Sweeney Todd looks to be no exception. We will be bringing you more on Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber Soon.
