Gina Carano in Steven Soderbergh’s A Knockout
Steven Soderbergh’s lead actor in his upcoming movie A Knockout has been named as non other than female mixed martial arts star Gina Carano.  Carano definitely has the looks to be in movies and isn’t new to being in front of the camera with her stint on the revamped American Gladiators and her time fighting in Elite XC and now in Strikeforce.
A Knockout is being billed as a flat out action movie, and Soderbergh seems confident it’s going to be a success because he’s not getting a flat fee for the movie but instead taking a stake in the profits. With a big name like Carano on board no doubt this movie is going to definitely have an audience and Soderbergh has shown time and again that he makes great movies.
It’s a really interesting and smart move to cast the pretty Gina Carano in the movie and with it being action based she certainly has the credentials for it, definitely one for you action fans to keep an eye on.
