The Dungeon Masters and Monsters vs. Aliens – Posted
This week in Posted we have two new movie posters for you to browse upon, from a documentary following 3 role playing fanatics to the latest and highly polished Dreamworks animation movie.
First up is The Dungeon Master a documentary following the lives and times of 3 role players from the USA. The movie doesn’t just focus on the Dungeons and Dragons style role playing though and instead pokes into the lives of these 3 gamers following their personal, work and home lives. Taking a look at the poster its pretty striking and i like it a lot, simple with a naive design that will definately catch the attention of its intended audience, little touches like the dice for eyes and the very awesome catch line, ‘ This is how they roll.’ Gotta love it.
Next we have a very opposite approach with the latest animated extravaganza from the mighty Dreamworks animation stable. Monsters vs. Aliens pokes fun at all those B-movie characters with a group of misfits the Monsters pitting their wits and powers against an alien invasion. The central character Susan Murphy is a normal woman who gets hit by a meteor on her wedding day turning her into Giantess, we follow her as she gets used to her new life. With a voice cast including Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen and Keifer Sutherland, Monsters vs Aliens keeps up the trend of having top names working on animated movies. Onto the poster, which is a fairy typical character and backdrop montage, but its striking with its mostly blue colour scheme and then the dash of colour in the centre to draw your eyes. Monsters vs. Aliens should be out everywhere in theatres right now.
