Prince of Persia – Posted
The upcoming Prince of Persia movie is starting to look better and better, and we have the latest posters from the 2010 Prince of Persia movie right here. With a cast that stars Jake Gyllenhaal in the title role as Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Tamina as the princess of the story, the Prince of Persia also backs up it’s young stars with veterans Ben Kingsley as Nizam who plans to kill and murder his brother King Shahrman and blame it on Prince Dastan and Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar, Prince Dastan’s mentor and friend.
The story centers on Prince Dastan who is adopted by the King and lined up to be the heir to the throne so that the king’s sons will not fight over their right to the throne, and along the way he ends up teaming up with Princess Tamina while they look for the Sands of Time which has fallen into the hands of the corrupt Nizam. If the Prince of Persia can match Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean which he also produced then we are all in for a fun rollercoaster of a movie with the highest production values and with old hand Mike Newell at the helm directing it should be on track.
The two most recent posters we have here were shown on Rotten Tomatoes and they feature the two lead characters and i like the monochromatic design with the flash of colour used in the strong red. Gemma Arterton is looking suitably exotic as the Princess Tamina and luckily both posters have the release date on them, stating May 2010 so thankfully we can presume that the Prince of Persia is not going to suffer any delays. You can check out the Prince of Persia posters below.
