The Last Airbender – Movie Trailer

M. Night Shyamalan’s latest feature film The Last Airbender now has its first official teaser trailer and you can take a look at it right here. In typical Shyamalan style the trailer doesn’t really give anything away but it sure looks pretty.

The Last Airbender is based on an animated TV show called Avatar – The Last Airbender and for obvious reasons this movie wont be sporting the Avatar moniker and will be bared down to just The Last Airbender. The movie is set in a world where the four main elements, Earth, Fire, Water and Air can be manipulated and controlled by certain people known simply as ‘benders’, and in this world there is a lot of discourse between the separate nations of each element. The story follows the journey of a young boy name Aang played by Noah Ringer who is the last survivor of the peaceful and tranquil air benders. With a large mythology background in this movie, you should probably expect to see a more focused Shyamalan, who really needs to get a commercial success under his belt with his last 3 or 4 films all doing rather lackluster business at the box office.
