The Happening release date – Shyamalan’s new movie

Friday the 13th a well known day and series of horror movies, well this is the day that in June 2008 we get to see M. Night Shyamalan new movie, The Happening. The Happening is a thriller that follows a biology teacher on the run from a huge disaster situation, as chaos begins to reign this man takes his family on the run as he seems to have worked out the situation but what are the real problems in his life.

With a cast on the Happening including Mark Wahlberg, the excellent Zooey Deschanel, and with support from John Leguizamo, it looks to be a good cast once again for M. Night Shyamalan.

However with his recent last movies there has been somewhat of a backlash against the writer director, and with some justification, both movies were rather indulgent fantasies. Yet Shyamalan is capable of making entertaining movies for the post X Files generation if he chooses.
