The 2009 Oscar’s Winners and roundup
It’s that time of year again, all your favorite movies, and a lot of movies you hadn’t heard of before, get nominated for an award or two or three, or twenty. At least one person/winner every year makes a terrible speech that makes you cringe for them, their loved ones, their family, their pets, and the entire human race. And one movie almost always always wins the lion share of awards.
This year was no exception and it was Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire that walked away with it, literally sweeping the board. Also of note was Kate Winslet finally getting her Oscar and Sean Penn Winning best actor for this performance in Milk.
The best documentary went to the well deserving Man on Wire which I loved and Wall-E walked away with the best animated movie category award. And in case you havent seen the rest of the results here they are.
