News is spreading like wild fire that Rachel McAdams is in the running to play Black Cat in the upcoming Spiderman 4 movie directed by Sam Raimi. It's not the first time that McAdams has been lined up to star in a Superhero movie, with her being in the running to play Pepper Pots in the Iron Man movie and now rumours of this. It would surely be a career boost in recognition for Rachel McAdams starring in a successful franchise like Spiderman, although with her role in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie this Christmas and her starring role in The Time Traveler's Wife she might not need it
Sherlock Holmes is a movie we have covered here quite a bit and with good reason, it looks pretty amazing. Guy Ritchie's reinvention of Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes has a new trailer out, and it is pretty full on! This re-invention of the Sherlock Holmes saga is depicted as a new portrayal of the eccentric character with Downey reported to be playing Holmes with more emphasis on this physical abilities and bohemian nature as oppose to the thinker we have previously seen in earlier adaptations
As you may have heard recently there are two movies due to be shot featuring one of the most famous fictional detectives ever. Sherlock Holmes is due back on the big screen with one movie due to be directed by RocknRolla's Guy Ritchie and one to be produced by Judd Apatow
Wes Craven is a horror maestro, despite my reservations about some of his earlier movies. With the mega successful Freddy Krueger series and the Scream franchise under his belt, Craven goes for the more mature audience with this tense thriller, starring Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams
