Pineapple Express – Comedy trailer worth watching
Pineapple Express is the latest Judd Apatow produced movie with direction from David Gordon Green and starring Apatow regulars Seth Rogen and James Franco as two lazy stoner’s who stumble upon a murder by a corrupt police officer. The trouble all starts when Dale Denton played by Rogen and Saul Sliver played by Franco, nice character names by the way love the alliteration, are looking to purchase some rare strain of marijuana named Pineapple Express, while cutting the deal they see the aforementioned murder and stupidly drop some Pineapple Express. With it being so rare the murderers are able to track these two down which causes all manner or action related chases and comedy moments.
The trailer for Pineapple Express has been buzzing around for a while and looks solid with some full on action scenes in what is essentially a comedy stoner movie. Listen out for the very cool song on the trailer too, Paper Planes by M.I.A. If you haven’t seen it yet you should take a look especially if your an Apatow fan as this looks like a solid comedy movie.
Due out on the 6th of August in USA and Canada, with releases worldwide following later including a early September release date for the UK, Pineapple Express looks like its going to be one of the better summer comedies already racking up a bunch of complimentary reviews.
