Ghostbusters 3 – Upcoming sequel in the Ghostbusters franchise
Ghostbuster 3 the sequel to the 1984 original Ghostbusters movie and the 1989 Ghostbusters 2, is in the making. Ghostbusters 3 has nearly all of the original cast returning to reprise their rolls, with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson reprising the four main characters in the supernatural hunting team. The first two Ghostbusters films were written by two of the stars, Aykroyd and Ramis, and the third movie is following the same path. While Aykroyd already wrote a script way back when for a third movie, this one is going to have a nice little twist in that Ghostbuster cadets are going to star in the movie too.
In a way this is a smart move, and it would allow them to give the franchise a new lease of future life, rumored names to be in the cast are a possible Eliza Dushka or Alyssa Milano, either way if you remember the first movie it was something special at the time, and it seems they are trying to inject that into this new sequel.
