Get Smart this summer

Get Smart is a film adaptation of the original 1960’s Mel Brooks spy parody caper show. Steve Carrel stars as Maxwell Smart, with Anne Hathaway, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson taking on the other main roles, with a cameo by none other than Bill Murray.

Get Smart is lined up for a summer 2008 release worldwide, where I expect it will do well. Carrel is currently popular as is Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson continues to take a variety of roles, and the trailer for Get Smart is pretty good. All the pre release reviews and opinions point to a funny, summer popcorn movie.
