Alice in Wonderland – Posted
This week Alice in Wonderland the upcoming movie from director Tim Burton is the focus of Posted, where we taking a look at the character posters from the movie which looks to be loaded with classic Tim Burton style.
Alice in Wonderland stars Mia Wasikowska as Alice who at 19 ends up in Wonderland again where the Red Queen played by Helena Bonham Carter has overthrown her sister the White Queen played by Anne Hathaway. Alice once in Wonderland is greeted by the creatures there we all know, like the Cheshire Cat, The March Hare and Tweedledee and Tweedledum who wait for Alice to help them overthrow the Red Queen’s reign. Alice the White Queen, the Mad Hatter played by Johnny Depp and the Caterpillar played by Alan Rickman team up and join forces to regain control.
With a cracking cast and a unique visual style i’m sure Alice in Wonderland is going to be an interesting film and while personally it’s not the normal type of movie i would see, Tim Burton usually makes such good movies its hard not to be intrigued. The quirky visual style that Burton has become famous for is evident here in Alice and Wonderland and the posters reflect that and i personally think they all look great, although i would be lying if i said that the Red Queens forehead doesn’t scare me.

Alice in Wonderland is all set for a March 2010 release date and like a lot of films recently is going to be shown in 3D in selected theaters as well as the traditional 2D movie format.
